Portal to Paradise
This flower-laden archway looks west along Lovango, Mingo, Grass, Thatch and Hans Lollick islands, to name a few. These vibrant emerald jewels of the sea are a handful of the many smaller islands that cluster around the main Virgin Islands. Each of these islands is wonderful and unique. Lovango is entirely off the grid, using only wind and solar energy; Mingo and Grass have beautiful snorkeling; Congo is a bird sanctuary and diving trips there often see dolphins and, occasionally, whales; Thatch has a host of famous pirates associated with it, including Blackbeard and Captain Kidd. Though they may not have stunning beaches or an exciting nightlife, these islands contribute to the character of the Caribbean and are always worth a visit!
