The excitement never ends in St. John
The Christmas winds are here, cooling the days, and more so the evenings. The tops of my coconut trees are waving back and forth, and North Swell is here with 10-15 foot waves coming in to the north shore beaches, stirring up sand and making zero visibility for snorkeling, but our waters are still turquoise and beautiful. It’s almost Winter! But that was just a snap shot of this week, with next week maybe being more mild. The sun is out every day, with beautiful skies over St. John.
And speaking of skies, the 2022 calendar, Skies Over St. John, is selling out fast. Every order that comes in, has at least one request for a calendar.
I am so happy to see the response from you all. I have noticed that many buy one or two calendars, and like them so much, that they order more later! So many of you have purchased them year after year. Thank you!
The Christmas card calendar is being printed as I write this message to you. I have accidentally lost a considerable amount of my mailing list. If you do not receive a card, and want one, please email me, or order something. Many people were deleted from the mailing list that I have not heard from for years. Or, maybe you may have moved, and not told me. Somehow, my list went from over 4000 clients to 2000, so do not feel that you were singled out…my grand daughter as well as my daughter had to be put back on!
Its another beautiful card, and I hope that each of you receive it! If you have moved, also let me know.
We have a new face at Coconut Coast Studios! Banen Chaney is now working with us here. We are so blessed to have another wonderful young woman to run ‘tings! She was trained by Ladys, and is a very fast learner. Her help is invaluable and her ideas are excellent! Please do drop by and meet her, in person, or by phone.
TJ Schutt, my grandson, is out of school for the holidays, so he will be here at the gallery helping as well. Please have him explain one of his pieces to you. His HOPE painting is also in the 2022 calendar this year.
Dove is two years old now, still acting like a 6 month old. A very smart dog, that thinks each one of you is coming to the gallery to play ball with her. She brings the ball to you, and will bark when you want to look at art work, as you are not paying attention to her. I have purchased two bark collars, thus far, that spray citronella on her, to stop the barking. She is so smart, that she took each of them swimming, thereby killing the batteries, and breaking them! I’m still looking for the one that will train her NOT to BARK! Time will tell. Still a puppy in training.
